Depending on who you talk to, Tool are either one of the smartest metal bands to have ever existed, or overrated and pretentious (at least according to my mate Bob). Whatever side of the fence you sit on, there's no question that the band are capable of producing some of the most complex and atmospheric songs in the prog metal world and definitely aren't afraid to experiment. It's also kind of hard to tell when they're being serious, or if they're trolling us, which I guess just adds to the charm.
Case in point, here's a track that may or may not be a beautiful love song - Stinkfist. Enjoy!
