appears on Sacrament (2006)
It's time to get heavy again this week as we throw some Lamb of God into the mix. It's about time!
Hailing from Richmond, Virginia in the US, LoG originally started life in the 90's as Burn the Priest (noticing a theme here) before changing their name after their 1999 debut album. Counting the debut and a cover album in 2018 under their original name, the band have put out 10 brutal studio albums to date, and to be honest it's been quite hard to pick a favourite.
But we're going to go with a track from their 2006 album Sacrament. Redneck seemed the obvious choice as it's probably the bigger single off the album, but I have a particular soft spot for the opening track Walk With me in Hell .. and since I'm the one at the keyboard, that's the one you're getting.
Consider this your motherf**king invitation!
